The Design Link Architects-designed project will share the neighbourhood with residential neighbours including Urbana, Waterford Residences, Pacific Mansions and Aspen Heights. The Martin Place site is within 1km of shopping facilities such as the UE Shopping Mall, Great World City, Orchard Central, Liang Court, Concorde Shopping Centre while historical/cultural places of interest such as Robertson Walk, Visitor Centre, Clarke Quay, Fort Canning Cannon, Singapore Time Ball, Fort Canning Gothic Gate, Fort Canning and Gothic Gate are all within easy reach. The developer responsible, Frasers Centrepoint Homes, was also behind projects such as Soleil @ Sinaran, and the sold-out St. Thomas Suites, One Jervois, Côte d’Azur. “The developer ranks among one of the top-selling developers in Singapore residential property market,” said Andrew Teo, owner of project marketing agent lushhomemedia.com. “With more than 9,000 local homes built in over 25 developments since the launch of the The Anchorage, its inaugural project in 1992, its success is due largely to a mix of strong attributes - good locations, innovative product features and attractive pricing.” The development is already proving popular and around 30 units have sold since mid-January through private previews. Units in the 33-storey project, which are now available freehold, come in a range of sizes and styles. One-bedroom units take up 592-646 sqft, two-bedroom units occupy 1044-1163 sqft, three-bedroom units are 1421 sqft, three-bed plus study units come in 1722 sqft, four-bedroom units range in size from 1894-2002 sqft and the project’s penthouses take up either 3326, 3380 or 3434 sqft. The development includes a sky terrace, spa pools, clubhouse with function room, gym, children’s play area, pavilion with kitchen, barbecue facility, lawn, reading lounge, yoga corner, sky lounge, water garden and higher floors enjoy views of the Singapore River and the surrounding area. Martin Place is expected to be completed on or before its target deadline of 31 Dec 2011 and units range in price from S$1900-2300 per sqf. |
