UOL/Peak Century win Simei site
A partnership between UOL Group and Peak Century has put in the top bid of S$236.1 million or S$296psf/plot ratio for a residential site at Simei Street 4. The 3.22ha, 99-year leasehold site has a maximum permissible GFA of 797,433sqft. It was launched for public tender on December 5, 2007.

City View flats selling in Boon Keng
City View @ Boon Keng by Hoi Hup Sunway Development, the second public housing project to be built and sold by a private developer, has gone on sale. The 714-unit project, which will be ready in September 2011, consists of 72 three-room, 168 four-room and 474 five-room flats housed in three 40-storey blocks. The three-room units are priced from S$349,000-$394,000; four-room units at S$523,000-$597,000; five-room units at S$536,000-S$727,000. On average, units were selling at S$520 per sq ft. The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has awarded a residential site located along Alexandra Road to Wing Tai Holdings and United Engineers (UE). The group jointly put in a top bid of S$288.4 million or S$639psf/plot ratio. The 92,127sqft, 99-year leasehold site has a maximum gross floor area of 451,427sqft. (The Business Times, 28/12/2007)

Frasers Centrepoint awarded Boon Lay site
The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has awarded the residential site located at Boon Lay Way/Lakeside Drive to Frasers Centrepoint Limited. The winning bid was S$205.56 million or S$248psf/plot ratio. The 2.2-hectare, 99-year leasehold site has a maximum gross floor area of 828,853sqft. (The Business Times, 18/12/2007)

Kuwait fund buys 97 GuocoLand homes
Kuwait Finance House paid GuocoLand about S$818.4 million for 97 units of the developer’s 210-unit Goodwood Residences. These sold units are all four-bedroom units ranging from 2,500-3,900sqft. It was reported that the price worked out to be slightly more than S$3,000 per sq ft. The development also comprises 22 deluxe four-bedroom units, 81 two and three-bedroom units, and 10 penthouses. Chip Eng Seng tops bid for Pasir Ris site
The condominium site located at Elias Road attracted a total of three bids. The top bid came from Chip Eng Seng at S$104 million or S$228psf/plot ratio. The second highest bid was put in by GuocoLand at S$100.4 million or S$220psf/plot ratio. The 152,054-sq ft 99-year leasehold site has a maximum gross floor area of 456,162sqft.
